Adam Lambert: I’ve had A-list conquests

Adam Lambert has slept with famous A-list stars, but won’t name names.

Adam Lambert has bedded various male Hollywood stars.

The US singer, who shot to fame on American Idol in 2009, has opened up to Glamour magazine about his past conquests. While he didn’t name names, he did tease the fact that he’d slept with household stars that claim to be straight.

“I’ve been with a few of them,” Adam told the publication. “Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that.

“But with women being the primary moviegoers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”

Adam has never hidden his sexuality. Despite being openly gay, the 33-year-old admits to experimenting with women in recent years.

“I think women are beautiful – and I always notice when girls smell really good. Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women… I have slept with a woman before. I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was a random thing but I was very curious. It felt great,” he smiled.

Alongside his own successful solo career, Adam is also a part-time Freddie Mercury stand in. He plays with legendary British group Queen and recently completed a series of shows with them.

He’s also joined forces with Queen guitarist Brian May on a new track from his album The Original High, which hits shelves on June 12.

“For the Queen fans out there that saw the tour, Brian May is on one of the [new album’s] tracks, playing guitar on a song called Lucy. I played him the demo and he was like ‘Oh, I love this, I have some ideas.’ So he came in with all this great stuff to contribute. It was really exciting,” he recently said. …read more

Nick Jonas: Love makes life easier

Nick Jonas has spoken about how having girlfriend Olivia Culpo as his “teammate” benefits his mental and emotional state.

Nick Jonas thinks having love in his life “makes things a little easier”.

The 22-year-old Chains singer has been dating Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo since 2013.

And he appreciates having the stunning model by his side, because Olivia really helps him out when the star needs support the most.

“I think anytime you have a teammate it makes things a little easier,” Nick told People magazine. “It has been a wild ride and a crazy year and a half. It’s been really special.”

Last year Nick released his solo LP, entitled Nick Jonas, to great success.

His great reception as a solo artist came soon after the Jonas Brothers disbanded.

Nick’s single Jealous went Platinum when he released it last November. Although the song’s lyrics describe a situation in which a man becomes extremely jealous when other men show attraction to his girlfriend, Nick says in real life he’s not really that defensive about Olivia, at least not any longer.

“The song would have you thinking otherwise,” he said. “But that experience that I wrote the song of actually helped me process it and make it easy to deal with.”

Nick’s tune Jealous is such a huge hit, pop royalty Rihanna even did a cover of it.

When Nick caught wind of Rihanna’s version, he made his friends watch her singing the track on repeat.

“I was in the car and it was the perfect time to have seen the video,” he recalled to BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw.

“I was out with my buddies about to go have a drink and saw, ‘Oh, what’s this video?’ and it’s Rihanna, singing my song. I showed my buddies 100 times: ‘Have you seen this video of Rihanna…?’ It’s so …read more

Jay Z defends TIDAL

Jay Z has lashed out against relentless critics of his new streaming service TIDAL.

Jay Z has unleashed a “stream of consciousness” defence of his streaming service TIDAL.

The 45-year-old rapper is co-owner of the new tech company, which hosted a star-studded press conference in March with attendees like Madonna, Deadmau5, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Jay Z’s wife Beyoncé Knowles.

Although the fanfare was initially huge the TIDAL buzz seemed to fizzle out quickly after this event took place and Jay Z took to Twitter Sunday in defence of his business.

“Stream of consciousness coming in 5, 4, 3, 2… (sic),” he wrote in the first of a series of tweets, which all ended with the hashtag #TidalFacts. “Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month.

“The iTunes Store wasn’t built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful…

“We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow & get better.”

Jay Z then shared his concerns over how his competition has entered this conversation.

The hip hop mogul is convinced other companies are intentionally trying to give TIDAL a bad name.

“There are many big companies that are spending millions on a smear campaign. We are not anti-anyone, we are pro-artist & fan,” he wrote. “Rich getting richer? Equity values… YouTube $390 billion. Apple $760 billion. Spotify $8 billion. Tidal $60 million.”

TIDAL has come under fire by some critics who assert the service will only line the pockets of affluent artists like the superstars who attended last month’s press occasion.

But Jay Z has dismissed this claim as complete nonsense.

“We made Tidal for fans. We have more than just music. We have video, exclusive concerts, tickets for events early, live sports! Tidal is where artists can …read more

Ed Sheeran: Swift’s the best wingman!

Ed Sheeran has joked his good friend Taylor Swift is helping him find new women to date following his split from Athina Andrelos recently.

Ed Sheeran has praised his friend Taylor Swift for being “a brilliant wingman”.

The 24-year-old British singer confirmed during an interview on Australian radio program the Kyle And Jackie O Show in March he and longtime girlfriend Athina Andrelos recently ended their relationship.

And Ed has joked his good pal Taylor is actually really good at helping him meet new potential partners.

“She’s a brilliant wingman,” he told British newspaper The Mirror.

However, Taylor’s flirtation skills are no match for Ed’s other friend Shane Warne.

Shane, a famous cricket player, continues to blow Ed away with his schmoozing technique.

“He’s hugely impressive. It’s an art form with him,” The A Team singer noted.

Ed isn’t interested in being on the dating scene for the rest of his life.

The star wants to settle down, as he was exposed to the benefits of monogamy from a very young age.

“I’m from a family where you find a partner and stick with them,” Ed said.

It’s claimed a number of things contributed to Ed’s breakup with Athina, a chef.

Apparently she became extremely frustrated with his behavior at the BRIT Awards in February.

“The final straw was at the after-party. It was a combination of Ed drinking too much and him being unable to deal with a girl that kept bothering them that night,” a source told Heat magazine previously. “The next day, when Athina – who works as a Food Team production assistant at The Jamie Oliver Group – drove Ed to the airport, they spoke about everything and decided to take a break because it was unfair on both of them.

“It wasn’t to do with his fame, it’s just how he’d deal with other people – girls – …read more
