Mornings/Retro Saturday Night
Johnny Wolfe has gone through his radio career with some interesting nicknames. In his first on-air radio job at WNCI in Columbus, Ohio, he was an air traffic reporter called “Crash.” He was dubbed “Captain Carl” at WMGG in Columbus.

When he’s not on the air, Jonathan has a passion for watching sports. During his stint at WBNS in Columbus, he produced on-air sporting events from Ohio State University and International League Baseball games.

This Columbus native also boasts about an ability to stand on his head for long periods of time and having an addiction to double cheeseburgers. Be sure to check out Johnny every Retro Saturday Night!

Lisa Thomas
Middays

Radio veteran Lisa Thomas has spent more than 20 years on the air entertaining her listeners and is pleased to join the Hot AC team. A good portion of her radio career was spent at Dallas’ Mix 102.9 where she served as Music Director, Assistant Program Director and Mid-Day Personality. Consistently placing in the top five with Women 25-54 in her day part, Lisa’s accolades include being a Billboard Music Director Of The Year nominee; a Radio & Records Music Director Of The Year nominee; and a Radio Music Award Music Director Of the Year winner.

“I eat, breathe, and sleep pop culture and the ‘at work’ lifestyle,” says Lisa. “Outside of radio, I’m a busy working mom and proud of my two little ones, ages 9 and 3. They keep me grounded. Time management? What’s that? I’m just as guilty as the next working mom and I try to get it all done in a day! Calm, cool and together….NOT ME! Bad hair days, lollipop stuck to my bottom, training pants in my purse…THAT’S more like it. I’m also active in Girl Scouting where I lead a troop, an avid runner, a Sunday School teacher and a Crock Pot aficionado. All the best things in life

Race Taylor
Afternoon – Evenings

In addition to his work on the air, Race is the current billboard voice for ABC-TV’s Prime Time programming. His voice work has been on shows like Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Dancing with the Stars just to name a few.

Race has also been the host of several national radio specials with the ABC and Westwood One radio networks.  Television appearances include All My Children, Three Men and a Chick Flick, VH-1′s Top 20 Countdown, Behind The Music, True Spin, and several entertainment magazine shows as a music analyst.

Adds Race, “To interact with the audience and the artist simultaneously…that’s the best part!  Throw a camera in there and it’s a TV show!”

Outside of radio, Race plays golf, drums, and “Dad.”  He and his wife Patty have 3 boys, ages 9, 7 and 2.

DAVE PERRY
Evenings

Dave began life as a surprise.

Apparently, an unexpected one – but then, aren’t ALL surprises unexpected?

His mother was undergoing a routine x-ray in an attempt to diagnose some stomach discomfort she’d been experiencing, when, lo and behold . . . there he was, probably making shadow puppets on the x-ray screen.

Yes, that’s right – blasted with radiation before even leaving the womb.

Explains a LOT, doesn’t it?

Dave’s childhood was happy and uneventful – except, of course, for the hundreds of times he was dropped on his head during driveway basketball games with his older neighborhood friends.

Really explains a LOT, doesn’t it?

Dave’s dream was always to pursue a career in radio broadcasting. He started in 1981 at a hits station in Silsbee, Texas (picture Green Acres meets The Twilght Zone). He moved on to radio stations in Beaumont, Houston, and Dallas, Texas. Today he enjoys playing great music and taking care of his listeners on Today’s Best Hits!

He and his lovely wife of 20 years, Rhonda, have two boys, Michael and Matthew. On his free time you can catch Dave driving his Ford Mustang GT, surfing the Internet, and catching up on his “honey do’s.” Dave would like to add that all his successes and blessings comes from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Susan Huber
Overnights

A Washington DC area native, Susan’s radio career began shortly after college, when she helped local Radio Zone morning show host, Kenny Curtis, announce the Word of the Day. Fast forward a few years and Susan was moving to Dallas, Texas, to help launch a little station called Radio Disney, where she spent the next 12 years as one of their national DJs. Susan’s voice has been heard on Disney Channel, Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon and she is excited to now be heard on Today’s Best Hits. In her spare time, Susan loves hanging out with her husband and their cute Chocolate Lab, teaching yoga and cooking everything she sees on Food Network.
